These shimmering silk hair scrunchies are carefully handmade using a bundle-dye technique to create one-of-a-kind natural patterns and colours on the fabric, and then hand-sewn in my home studio.
They are big enough to tie around a pony tail twice or a messy bun once. They also look pretty cool on your wrist!
Batch #04 was created using cochineal, chamomile and wild sweet peas. Natural dyeing fabric is a slow craft that takes time; time to prepare the fabric, gather flowers and plants, bundle dye, steam, wash, and to cut and sew the products. These products are made with intention and care, not with machines and nasty chemicals.
